“Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.” Psalms 105:4 NLT
On Sunday 15th May, I challenged our church to 40 days of intentionally seeking God, to look for his direction, find encouragement from His Word, and to start testing it by sharing and talking with others who they trust, ‘God, in what way do You need me to go right now? What do You want me to do? What do You need to change in me?’ This Friday the 24th June marks the end of that 40 days, so let’s make these last few days count. If You don’t think God has said anything to you then what’s been getting in the way I wonder? Have you prayed and listened? I did warn us to be prepared for God to interrupt our plans and to challenge our thinking, so it always takes courage and faith to ask those questions, to listen and respond. I’m praying that this 40 days has just kick started for some of us the realisation that seeking God continually is what we need to be doing on an ongoing basis, in order to get the guidance and the strength that we need to keep going His way! Lord, speak to me today, help me to hear Your still small voice above the noise, and lead me in the way everlasting. Amen 🙏🏼❤️
