“Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.” Psalms 136:26 NLT
This whole Psalm line by line gives reason after reason to thank God, repeating over and over that His faithful love endures forever. It starts with creation, describes Israel’s escape from Egypt and their trek to the Promised Land, highlighting God’s provision and protection in every step. It reminds me that even in circumstances that are tough, God is with me; that even when confronted by enemies, dead ends, and the wilderness, when I might be fearful, unable to see a way through or just feeling lost, God’s faithful love is still leading me, still making a way for me, still working it’s power out in me, so I can still be thankful! In fact, I must give thanks to safeguard my heart, to stay strong in faith and to keep going God’s way! May you know God’s love today and remember that when all else fails His love never will, it’s forever!! 💔❤️❤️🔥
