The person who wrote this, Paul, was a man who, before he encountered Jesus, had everything deemed successful: he had status and influence, he was highly regarded in his religion, he had a career for life, and yet he discovered that none of it came close to knowing Jesus; it was all garbage compared to the forgiveness, freedom, and future, that he discovered in a relationship with God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Lord, I want to know you like that, to appreciate afresh what You have accomplished for me, and to experience the unequaled joy of living the life You have called me into as I get to know You more! Help me to be a true Christian – Christ first in everything, so that other people may see You more clearly through my words and actions and come to know Your saving love too. Amen 💔❤️❤️🔥
