“I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness.” Isaiah 61:10 NLT
Isaiah 61 has been such a significant passage of scripture for me over the years, especially the first few verses that prophesied Jesus and His mandate for life! I don’t often read this far down though, but what a great reminder this morning of what we wear as Christians. Every day as I get up comes the thought, ‘What am I going to wear today?’ Well, look no further than the garments of salvation and righteousness, that bear the greatest designer label, Jesus Christ! Let’s make sure that we are wearing them well! Lord, thank You for gifting me what I could never afford to buy. May I leave the house today covered in the joy that comes from knowing you, Your salvation and righteousness looking so good on me that other people want to know where they can get them too! Amen 🙏🏼😊
