I love this little sandwich of reminders, that yes, our lives may be filled with troubles at times and we will need learn and exercise patience, but what makes it more palatable is that as Christians we always have hope that we can rejoice in, and we always have the ability to pray, to lean on God and cast our cares on Him. That exhortation to keep on praying is described in the Amplified version as, ‘continually seeking wisdom, guidance and strength.’ How blessed are we that we can surround our troubles with prayer and rejoicing, always connected to the source of that wisdom, guidance and strength, knowing that He can get us through anything! Lord, give me patience whatever I am facing, and may rejoicing and prayer flavour my day more than the taste of my troubles. Amen 🙌🏼😊
