“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” John 14:27 AMP
Another promise of Jesus from this same chapter of John, His peace!! This goes out today to all those facing challenges of any kind: health challenges, work challenges, relational challenges, financial challenges, whatever it is, you and I have the courage and strength to not only face it but to get through it, because of the peace that Jesus brings that can calm our troubled and fearful hearts. When the disciples were caught in a storm and they thought their boat was going to break apart and they would drown, Jesus wasn’t panicking, He was asleep with His head on a cushion, lol, but when He was called on by His friends, He rebuked the wind and He spoke to the waves to be still and there was a great calm (Mark 4:35-41), that’s what makes the difference, the presence of Jesus! Lord, may we know, and be alert to, Your presence with us today wherever we find ourselves. May we be filled with Your peace that brings a calmness to our hearts whatever the circumstance! I trust in Your promise today and my heart is revived. Amen 🙌🏼❤️🔥
