There’s this moment in the life of Jesus where his glory is revealed to Peter, James, and John. They get a glimpse of the power and authority he holds as he meets with Moses and Elijah on the mountain, and the disciples are terrified! Until this moment He had been their teacher, their rabbi, their friend, they thought they knew Him, but now they see Him for who He really is – the Son of God, and they hear a voice from heaven telling them to listen to Him! The first words of Jesus after this are, “Get up, don’t be afraid!” What reassurance! We need that revelation of who Jesus is, and we need to listen to and heed His words as well! Lord, in this world that feels so dark, and so overwhelming at times, show me Your glory, help me to hear Your voice, to rise at Your command and to not let fear win. Thank You for Your awesome presence, constantly with me, Your face shining, Your light still blazing. As I look to You, may Your light be reflected through me today. Amen 🔥☀️💡❤️
