This was on the road to Emmaus, soon after Jesus had been raised from the dead. Two people walking with Jesus who had no idea who it was walking with them! I love that He showed them His presence in the old Scriptures, unveiling God’s master plan of salvation! And then to see their excitement, a burning in their hearts, when they finally realised it was the risen Jesus! Lord, I too need that revelation of who You are! As I open Your Word would You open my eyes to see You on every page, to know that You are walking with me right now. Set a fire and a renewed passion in my heart as I look to You today. Amen 🔥😊
