If I review my prayer life, so much from my side is telling God what He needs to do, giving Him what is the best solution from my perspective, my faith levels dependent on whether He does what I want or not. And yet this is not how Jesus told us to pray. So I’m taking up the challenge that we were given in church yesterday to pray differently, to at least open up my mind to the possibility that God’s will might be different to my best case scenario, trusting that His way is ultimately always the best way! Lord, help me to see through Your eyes this week, to seek Your will rather than impose my will, to believe for the things of heaven here on the earth rather than setting my expectations based on what I see with my physical eyes! In the light of who You are, King of Heaven, help me to pray bigger prayers, that I might see Your good, pleasing, and perfect will coming to pass more and more in my life, with a greater awareness of all You are doing on the earth right now. Father, I want to be about Your business, so open my eyes and show me how? Amen 🙏🏼
