This Psalm of David is such a statement of faith and hope and confidence when everything looked uncertain and fearful; these words written, not when all was calm and peaceful, but when his very life was being threatened! However, David knew God’s calling on his life, he knew that he had a destiny to fulfill, so he held to God’s promise and trusted in God’s plan, staying as close as he could to the only One who could protect him and lead him! For all those who find themselves in uncertain and scary times, these verses are for you! Read them, believe them, declare them, stand firm on them.
