I’m gonna be thinking a lot about the Word of God over the next few weeks as we get to grips with listening to what He says and then responding to Him. The Word, who has always existed, who was with God and is God. The Word by which everything was created, the Word who brings light and life! (John 1) I so want to know better the Living Word of God, Jesus, as revealed in the written Word of God, the Bible, experiencing the new life and power and wisdom that comes from trusting in Him! How about you? Last week on my Lectio 365 App there was a prayer that has stuck with me, asking Jesus to ignite in me again the wonder of His Word, making me hungry to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest! Yes Lord, as I open Your Word would You speak to me, teach me, train me, and set my heart ablaze for You and for the things of Your Kingdom. Amen 👆🏼😊
