“You have circled this mountain long enough; turn northward…” Deuteronomy 2:3 AMP
As I opened my Bible App this morning I was thinking of the word ‘enough,’ so I put the word in the search engine and this was one of the first verses that came up! I’m wondering whether this is a specific word for someone this morning who feels they have just been going round the same issue or cycle of behavior or just trying to make something work for far too long, and God is saying today it’s time to change direction? The first command is to turn, northward is always up in my mind so look up, turn to God, do something different! The context of this verse is Moses leading the people of Israel towards the Promised Land! There is a better destination than the mountain you are encircling, there are greater days ahead, God does want to lead you – He has a good plan for your life!
