Turn on the news on any given day and there’s always enough to stoke anxiety, not to mention our own family, work, financial, and health worries – anxiety is constantly there in the wings to trip us up and drag us down. And yet we have a Heavenly Father who cares for us, who is always with us, who knows the future He has planned for us, with arms that are more than able to carry us! To cast means to throw with all your might! He can take it, our anxieties don’t panic Him, and He gives us a peace that can calm us as we put our trust in Him. Lord, thank You that I don’t have to let anxiety be the controlling factor of my life. Show me how to cast all my cares upon You and to stand firm in Your peace. Thank You for being my Unshakable Rock, my Refuge and my Strength, our Very Present Help. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
