This is the verse of the day on the Bible App (YouVersion) and it seems very apt as this weekend at our church we are joining with all the churches around the world who are part of our Kingfisher family for some focused prayer! Our world, our land, is desperately in need of restoration, we need God’s intervention. Without repentance, that humbling of ourselves and praying, seeking God’s face and His will, what hope does this world really have? Even those with no faith in God are predicting that if things don’t change we are heading for destruction. But as Christians we can pray! We know that God loves His world and has a plan for His world. We know that Jesus has already done all that is needed to save this world. He wants us to partner with Him, to live in relationship with Him, taking care of this world according to His will and purpose. Lord, thank You that You’ve not finished with us yet, thank You that Your promises are still assured. Draw us back to You, build Your Church to proclaim the Good News about who You are and what You’ve done. We pray for more blind eyes to see, for the lost to be found, for sinners to turn back to You and to understand how loved they are by You. Come heal our land! Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
