“So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honour, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, And He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.” Hosea 6:3 AMP
It’s not enough to know about God, to just have a head knowledge, we need that personal experience of Him. To be acquainted means to be familiar (on a family footing) with Him, it’s suggestive of talking together and doing things together. Building good family relationship doesn’t just happen by chance because I carry my family name, it always requires good communication, spending quality time with each other, and cherishing one another. Lord, thank You for making it possible for me to enter into that ‘familiar’ relationship with You. Show me how I can get to know You more, to understand fully the greatness of Your love, all You have done, and all You are yet to do. Thank You that I am part of Your family and that You desire time with me. Help me to find time to press in to You today. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
