This verse comes from a Psalm that is all about victory in the midst of adversity! Whatever you are facing this week (a number of my family have been stuck in Sweden after flights were cancelled, other friends are facing operations, health worries, some are in the midst of grief, there seem to be a million things creating an environment of uncertainty and anxiety), and yet… Jesus has overcome the world so we CAN take heart, we can rejoice in His victory, we can be glad in this new day that He has made, and that He has good plans for. We can look above the clouds and appreciate the sun (or the Son)! Lord, thank You that I have breath in my lungs, thank You for another day of being able to draw close to You. Help me to see the good that is all around me despite the troubles surrounding me. Cause my heart to rejoice in You today and to find its strength in You. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼😊☀️
