I’m staying in Psalm 34 today because I believe God wants to remind us of the importance, purpose, and power of prayer; that in spite of our struggles with fear, shame, and desperation in our troubles, He is our freedom, our help, our joy, our light, our counsellor, deliverer and saviour! Who else holds the answers that we seek? In the words of Peter, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You [alone] have the words of eternal life [you are our only hope].” John 6:68 AMP
Lord, I am so thankful that I can run to You, pour out my heart to You, and know that I am held by You. Remind me again today to pray rather than worry; to talk to You rather than listen to my fears; to remember all that You have already done for me and brought me through, rather than focus on what looks daunting in front of me. Answer me and lead me today as I come to You in prayer. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼
