“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.” Jude 1:20-21 NLT
Never underestimate the importance of building each other up in faith! We need each other. We need to have people around us who can encourage and motivate us, and we need to be that encouragement and motivation to others! It’s the first thing mentioned in these verses that will keep you safe in God’s love, along with praying and waiting on Jesus! Don’t isolate yourself from other Christians, don’t think you can go it alone. Without the body of the church you are easy prey for the enemy who is very practiced in tearing down faith. Who can you get around today to build you up? And who do you know who needs some building up? Go pray with them, share a testimony with them, read the Word to them! Lord, thank You for those You have given me who have kept me safe in Your love. Help me to be that person today to someone else who needs to be reminded of Your love. Amen 👆🏼🙌🏼❤️
