Boldly and confidently // 23-10-23

“Because of Christ and our faith in him, *(or because of Christ’s faithfulness) we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.” Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I was drawn to Ephesians 3 this morning and this was one of the verses that jumped out at me. So many things can stop us approaching God, and can cause us to drift away from Him: our selfish choices, pride, guilt, shame, fear, doubts, to name but a few. But for Jesus, we would have no hope of return, and yet because of His faithfulness, even to death on a cross, He made a way for us to come into God’s presence boldly and confidently. Think about that! Don’t let the devil convince you it’s too late or too hard or that you are too far gone. However you have woken up on this Monday morning, this is a reminder that nothing can separate you from God’s love! Whatever is getting in the way of you approaching God, communicating with Him and walking closely with Him this week, now is the best time to challenge it and make that turn back to Him! Jesus is bigger than all our doubts and fears, He has already dealt with our guilt and shame. God’s arms of forgiveness are open and waiting to embrace us again as we turn and run to Him. Lord, I pray for the prodigals today, those who are struggling to believe, who have lost heart and dropped out, or have just turned away and become indifferent to what it means to relate to You and to work with You. Bring revelation today of that open access we have through Jesus, and by Your presence revive our hearts and minds as we make that approach to You. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼
