What a moment, when the birth of Jesus was announced to the shepherds – the Prince of Peace was here!! But what does it mean, ‘…to those with whom God is pleased?’ What is it that pleases God? Well Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God, so I’m guessing that it’s with faith that He is pleased, so therefore with faith that we can experience real peace; faith being that believing, trusting reliance on Jesus and all that He has done for us. That’s what reconnects us to God, making peace with Him, with ourselves and others by experiencing His grace and forgiveness, setting us free to walk with Him and to work with Him as we were always meant to. Lord, thank You for Your great love, thank You for Your amazing salvation plan to set things right! I choose to put my trust in You and to do what pleases You, to know the peace that only You can give. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
