Believing in your heart is different to just believing in your head! God doesn’t just want our agreement that He’s real (from our heads) He wants our affection (from our hearts), to know and confess Him as the risen Saviour and as our Lord! It’s not a religious mindset that gives us assurance of our salvation but a loving, trusting, close relationship with God, paid and won for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus! Lord, show me more of what it means for You to truly be Lord of my life, and as I adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth of Your resurrection may I have complete confidence that the same power that raised You from the dead now lives in me!
