These were the words from Isaiah 61 that Jesus read out right at the start of His public ministry, stating to all those listening, “The Scripture you’ve just heard has been fulfilled this very day!” Luke 4:21 NLT
Wow! This is what Jesus said He had come to do, this is what He achieved, and this is what we can expect to see as we pray, ‘Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Thank You Lord Jesus that You are the Gospel, and as Your followers we get to carry and share that same message of Good News to those who are still captive and oppressed who so desperately need to know the favour and freedom that You brought for us! Send us out in the power of Your name today with eyes that see, and with the courage to pray and to proclaim Your Kingdom come. Amen 👆🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
