It’s not always helpful to take a verse out of the context it was written in, to a specific people/person/time. But this is one of those verses that just sums up what our God is like, with a command that is repeated throughout Scripture to not let fear win, reminding us how much of a refuge and present help our God is to those who trust in Him! So this goes out to all those I know right now who are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, impoverished, empty and out of ideas. God is not finished with you yet! You might be struggling in the heat of the battle but He isn’t! Look to Him, call on His name, trust in His promise, this promise, right now and know that He’s got you, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t give up on Him, He hasn’t given up on you, let hope rise as you rise today. Amen? 🙏🏼🔥
