Whom shall I dread? // 21-11-22

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life— Whom shall I dread?” Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

To all those waking up this morning with a feeling of dread as you look to this coming week, that horrible sense of anticipation accompanied by apprehension and fear, God wants to remind you that there is nothing you are facing that He can’t and won’t get you through! He is your light when it all seems dark and you can’t see the way forward clearly. He is your salvation, the One who can preserve you from harm, ruin or loss. He is your fortress, that place of refuge where nothing can get to you! In the words of an old chorus, ‘Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.’ Thank You Lord, that my life is in your hands, help me to believe in You and listen to You more than I listen to and believe my anxious thoughts and feelings. Thank You for Your constant presence with me and the strength You give, enabling me to say with confidence ‘I will not fear!’ Amen 🙌🏼😊
