God has given us minds with the ability to plan, to create, to make decisions, and it is right that we use our minds. Problems come when we do this in isolation from God or we place more importance on our plans than what God might be asking. He’s the only one who sees the whole journey, who knows the future, so we can make our plans, but much better to prayerfully consider them in collaboration with Him, to wait on Him, holding our plans lightly in the knowledge that God knows best and that His ways are always better than my ways. Lord, as I make plans at the beginning of this new year, would you lead me! Help me to always Look to you, to Expect You to speak, to Agree with what You say, and to Devote myself to Your will! Direct my steps so that Your plans and my plans become one and the same. Amen 🙏🏼❤️
