A memory came up on Facebook last week from eight years ago, where I’d been in church and heard the words in my mind, “I chose you!” Understanding that God chose me has given me the courage & belief to follow Him despite my own perceived limitations and flaws. When I believed it was all about me choosing Jesus I always worried that somehow He would be disappointed with me and I’d need to prove my worth? But understanding that knowing everything, He still chose me, helped me to see things very differently. So, if you are feeling overlooked, forgotten, incapable, not made of the right stuff, not good enough, then I want you to hear God’s Word to you today – “I chose You!!” He has picked you for His team, knowing everything about you He loves you & has called you & He values your life & the part only you can play. He has a mission for you to accept if you’ll have the courage to follow. But follow in the knowledge that you are chosen! Thank You Jesus for choosing me, help me to rest in that knowledge and live in the light of that wonderful truth this week. Amen 👆🏼❤️
